Title: Accordion Book

Brief description of project/activity: Kids can create their own comic-book style story line of pictures from an extra long strip of folded paper.

Materials/supplies needed: long piece of paper (for extra long pieces, cut strips from a butcher roll and make your accordion books have as many panels as you like!), stiff paper (will allow you to display accordion book by standing it on its side), drawing materials, scissors

Instructions: Cut long strips of paper and fold.

Fold the paper in half.

Take the top layer of paper, flip the edge back to meet the fold, and crease.

Turn the paper over, flip the edge of the paper back to meet the fold, and crease.

Let kids decorate their panels with whatever materials they like and create a picture book, comic or never-ending story.
