Title: Cornucopias for Thanksgiving

Theme: Thanksgiving

Brief description of project/activity: Celebrate the thanksgiving spirit by assembling colorful cornucopias.

Materials/supplies needed: large stiff paper or poster board, construction paper, coloring materials, scissors, glue

Instructions: Either have kids draw their own food or give out coloring pages that depict the different kinds of fruits and vegetables of a traditional Thanksgiving cornucopia. Once kids color their food pictures or cut their own foods from construction paper, they can cut them out and glue them onto the poster board. For younger kids, it is helpful to cut out the cornucopia shapes from brown paper beforehand and then hand them out to glue onto their cornucopia posters.
