recycled materials and volunteers needed
We're looking for a semester or year long commitment beginning Sept. 1, 2009 and ending in either December 2009 or June 25, 2010. Volunteers needed Monday though Friday between 2:30-6:00 PM. We are a bit flexible with start and end times and would be thrilled having volunteers one or more days weekly.
This program serves children in middle school grades, ages 10-14 years. We do a terrific variety of recreational and creative arts activities. We're looking for volunteers able to not only do art activities, but comfortable doing other things with the kids.
The program is located minutes from the Newton Highlands MBTA stop on the Green Line.
The Highlands After-School Program is a non-profit celebrating it's second year in offering fun and enriching after-school for @ 30 older kids each afternoon during the school year. We'd love to add your energy and enthusiasm in our program and team in 2009-2010!
